Jeweled Hairpin in Sterling Silver, Labradorite

$72.00

A classic straight (u-pin) hairpin formed and hammered from 14 gauge solid sterling silver wire, topped with a rose-cut faceted Labradorite, with lovely blue flashes! The pin measures about 4 inches, the stone embellishment is about 3/4 of an inch. It's a beautiful finishing touch for for buns, French twists, and similar styles. This pin is one of a kind!

Please note: Sterling silver doesn't have the "springiness" of standard steel pins. Use with care. You can gently bend the hairpins back into place if they become misaligned .

Also: These hairpins are made from sterling silver wire. According to my supplier, the wire is .925 pure silver, alloyed with copper. There are no ferrous (iron) metals in the wire.

I have sold these to several folks who work with MRI machines, and have never had complaints about them being magnetic.
